Hulk Hogan History

Did you know that the Hulks real name is Terry Gene Bollea and that he was born August 11, 1953? We all know that Hogan is a retired wrestler but he also dibbled in acting for a while.

Hogan hit mainstream popularity way back in the mid to early 80’s up until the early 90’s as a famous wrestler in the World Wrestling Federation better known to most as the WWF. He also participated in another organization called WCW or World Championship Wrestling. He did try and make a return to wrestling early in 2000 but it was short lived.

Hogan was the son of Peter and Ruth Bollea. His mother was a homemaker and a dance teacher and his father was a construction worker. Hulk was born and raised in Tampa Florida were as a little boy he played baseball as was the pitcher on his little league team.

As a young boy he begin watching wrestling on T.V. and his idol was Dusty Rhodes. Most people don’t know this but he is also a very skilled musician and spent years learning to play the bass guitar for several years playing in rock bands.

A few years later a few of his friends convinced him to try out for wrestling and since he was already a huge fan he agreed. In 1976 Hogan was introduced to a guy by the name of Hiro Matsuda who was an elite sports trainers and according to some reports Matsuda ask Hulk so you want to be a pro wrestler and then on purpose broke one of his legs, but this trainer did prepare Hogan to be one of the greatest wrestling entertainers of all times.

The Hulk Hogan Costume will be one of the best selling costumes this season in my opinion, this guy is a legend in the making so why not be a part of history and get one this season.
